Dinner and a Diva

Join Capitol City Opera Company on January 21st, at 6:15 pm, for a night of delicious food and performances from Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata.

“La traviata” is a tragic opera by Giuseppe Verdi where Violetta, a high-class Parisian courtesan living a glamorous but ill life, falls deeply in love with a young man named Alfredo Germont, despite the societal disapproval of their relationship; however, when Alfredo’s father pressures her to leave his son for the sake of the family’s reputation, Violetta sacrifices her love, leading to her eventual decline and death from consumption, leaving Alfredo heartbroken and realizing the depth of her sacrifice only too late.”

Wild Game Festival Menu

Does your New Year’s resolution include trying something new or eating healthy? If so, then try our Wild Game Festival Menu! This popular limited-time menu features an exotic appetizer and entrees using bison and venison, which are lower in calories and fat than traditional beef. We’ll have the special menu, along with our regular dinner menu, every evening during dinner, from 4:30 to 9 p.m., from Friday, January 31st, through Saturday, February 8th. Prices range from $18.95 to $36.95. Reservations are recommended at 404-634-6268.

The Wild Game Festival Menu starts with the Venison Three Ways appetizer. This dish includes venison meatballs in a creamy game sauce, a venison skewer and venison chili. It is a great sampler to share with the table. Entrees include Venison Stroganoff, comprised of thinly sliced venison loin seared in a light cream sauce, topped with oyster, shiitake and beech mushrooms on a bed of homemade spätzle. The menu also boasts bison in the form of either a Bison Burger or Bison Bourguignon, slow-braised bison short rib served with pommes puree, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, pearl onions and cabernet game sauce.

Our new Murder, Mystery, and Mayhem at Petite Violette show will begin Friday, February 7th. Tickets are available now!

Featuring the all-star production, cast, and crew formerly of Agatha’s in downtown Atlanta, Murder, Mystery, and Mayhem at Petite Violette is an interactive murder mystery dinner unlike any other. The event showcases unique, original, hilarious murder mysteries with live actors and audience participation, paired with a four-course dinner of fine French food. Shows run on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:00 p.m. (with check-in beginning at 6:30 p.m.). The cost per person is $75 plus tax and gratuity. Nitefort’s Dead Reckoning

But when the evil Mastermind of NiteFort, the most epic online/arcade/handheld game ever, discovers Ethan is closing in, he does the unthinkable. He pulls Ethan into a world he knows nothing about ....INSIDE the game of NiteFort. Light the fuse and ignite the thrills, as you’re enlisted to help Ethan Stunt, Lara Croft, Luther the Lyft Driver, some token Russian bad guys, and a whole lot of your favorite video game characters, as Ethan tries to find the killer and maybe even save the world!

Valentine’s Day Special Menu

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with us and enjoy a special holiday dinner menu, on Friday, February 14th. The lovely five-course Valentine’s Dinner Menu offers a choice of each of hot hors d’oeuvres, rich soup, fresh salad, gourmet entrée and decadent dessert, for just $99.95 per person (plus tax and gratuity). It also includes a complimentary rose for every lady. Seatings available from 5 to 9 p.m.

We Were on Fox 5’s Good Day Atlanta

For Agatha Christie's birthday and the movie "A Haunting in Venice", Good Day Atlanta had us on the show to demonstrate how a murder mystery dinner is done. And Chef cooked some Shrimp Alfredo Penne Pasta, to add some flavor to the segment. Watch here and make reservations for Fridays and Saturdays on our website.

We were featured on Atlanta Eats on Peachtree TV recently! If you've dined at the restaurant lately, you might have seen the filming crew and star Steak Shapiro getting footage for the show. So check out the episode here. You might spot some familiar faces or get your 15 minutes (seconds) of fame! Additionally, Peachtree TV featured Atlanta Eats: Best Soups in Atlanta, and it featured our Soupe a L’oignon Gratinee, a French onion soup topped with parmesan and melted gruyere. Watch the show for an up-close and personal review of our popular French classic, as well as other soups from restaurants around Atlanta. And come in for a bowl today or any day!

Every Friday evening, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., join us for a swinging soirée as Jazz guitar master, Dan Coy, leads a unique, acoustic instrumental group which specializes in Parisian-style jazz standards, Django Reinhardt songs, romantic ballads, and waltzes. The accordion (Gabe Granitz), guitar (Dan Coy) & bass (Mark Bynum) trio authentically reproduces the ambiance of a French bistro for your dining experience.

Saturday nights, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., it's the solo stylings of Berne Poliakoff, accompanied by her guitar. Enjoy this live music with dinner and drinks in the dining room or sips and snacks at the bar. There's something for everyone, and she welcomes requests!

Dinner and a Diva: 2025 Season

Every third Tuesday (and some third Thursdays) of the month, we host Dinner and a Diva. Each event features live entertainment consisting of selections from a famous opera performed by the Capitol City Opera Company’s singers. In addition to an evening of music, you’ll enjoy a gourmet four-course dinner with wine, leaving you with an evening to remember. Your dinner will include a sampling of premium hors d’ oeuvres, fresh salad, choice of two gourmet entrees, decadent dessert, hot coffee/tea, and two glasses of fine wine, all for only $75 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar open at 6:15 p.m., and the dinner and show start promptly at 7:00 p.m. Make reservations on our home page.

We host regular tasting events in our Olive Oil & Vinegar Boutique and also offer personal tastings during regular restaurant hours. Stop in and see what new flavors we have to offer each season and ask for a few samples. In addition, take home our extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars in 375ml and 750ml bottles for personal purchase or as gifts.
