Murder, Mystery, and Mayhem

Featuring the all-star production, cast, and crew formerly of the renowned “Agatha’s: A Taste of Mystery”, in downtown Atlanta, Murder, Mystery, and Mayhem at Petite Violette is an interactive murder mystery dinner unlike any other.

Murder, Mystery, and Mayhem showcases unique, original, hilarious murder mysteries with live professional actors and audience participation, paired with a four-course dinner of fine French food (hors d’oeuvres, salad, choice of entree, and dessert) with a glass of wine, plus tea and coffee. The production changes quarterly to offer up fresh stories and mysteries, and special holiday show performances are available for groups. The cost per person is $75 plus tax and gratuity. Seating is family-style, so guests get a chance to sit with the star of the show. (All food except hors d’oeuvres is served in individual portions.) Shows run Friday and Saturday nights at 7:00 p.m., with check-in and hors d’oeuvres beginning at 6:30 p.m. Murder, Mystery, and Mayhem at Petite Violette is designed for adults and recommended for those aged 10 and over (special considerations can be made for holiday shows). Shows take place in our private Bordeaux Room.

Our all-new 2024 holiday show “Die Hard Candy Christmas” runs Friday and Saturday nights through Saturday, December 28th, plus two special weeknight shows —Thursday, December 12th and Monday, December 23rd!

DIE HARD CANDY CHRISTMAS!

All North Pole Detective John McCandycane wants to do is reconcile with his estranged wife, singing sensation Holly Dolly Partridge Innapeartree. Unfortunately, it’s his bad luck to arrive on Christmas Eve just as a band of crazed misfit toys takes over Santa’s brand-new toy workshop, the 35-story high-rise, Santatomi Plaza.

Now workers have been bumped off, elves have been taken hostage, and Santa himself has been kidnapped! Could the whole attack be an inside job? Or a twisted prank from a demented Jokester?

Mccandycane is alone, tired—and the only chance anyone has got—but he must single-handedly solve the murders, stop the misfit toys, find the inside contact (or contacts), make up with his wife—and maybe, just maybe—save the Holidays!

Join John McCandycane as he crawls through air ducts, elevator shafts, and forests of peppermint sticks to face off against the misfit toys’ diabolical leader, the vaguely European mastermind Hans Uber, in the hilarious holiday show “Die Hard Candy Christmas!”

Audience Participation

This special brand of comedic murder mysteries is centered on making the audience laugh continuously, while also keeping them guessing. Our audience participation is a little different than other murder mysteries, but it’s also WAY more fun. Two professional actors greet all guests at the door to explain how the evening is going to be played out. At that time, the actors will give every audience member a part in the show. Parts can range from playing a character in the show, complete with props, or a smaller part singing in a group with many other guests.

Participation is highly encouraged, as we try to make the audience the star, but it’s not required. Guests who want to sit back, relax and enjoy a great evening of food and laughter with friends and family, will get exactly that.

The Four-Course Meal

Paired with top-notch entertainment is an outstanding four-course meal. The gourmet meal begins with a variety of hot and cold appetizers, followed by a fresh salad with a house made dressing. You can enjoy this course with a glass of wine that’s included in the ticket price. Next, you have a choice of five entrees including meat, fish, and vegetarian options.

If you have a food allergy, please let us know so we can try to accommodate you. These entrees change seasonally with each show and are always made with the freshest ingredients. Your final course is homemade dessert, served with coffee.
