Our last Dinner and a Diva of the 2017 Season is the ever-popular, much-anticipated Boar's Head Feast. We still have spaces left for our Friday, December 15th special performance (Tuesday, December 19th and Wednesday, December 20th are already sold out). Experience the pageantry of traditional, costumed madrigal singing this holiday season. This is one of our most beloved events, so be sure to make your reservations now before we are full.
It's a 20+ year tradition! Capitol City Opera's Madrigal Singers will present an evening of traditional a cappella Christmas and holiday carols and songs from the Renaissance and Baroque periods plus a few contemporary surprises, all in beautiful period costume. Enjoy a three course meal with wine while we entertain you, pass around the wassail, and even present the traditional boar's head. This will definitely put you in the holiday spirit!
The dinner includes hors d’ oeuvres, salad, choice of two entrees, dessert, coffee/tea, and two glasses of wine, for only $60 per person (tax included; gratuity separate). The performers from theCapitol City Opera Company sing between each course. The evening begins at 6:15 p.m. with a cash bar and hors d’oeuvres reception; dinner and performance start promptly at 7p.m. Reservations are required at 404-634-6268.
